It's Saturday

So, I couldn't come up with anything clever to title this post so it is what it is.

It was a lazy, leisure day today. Jim and I went to the club house and had the biscuit and sausage gravy breakfast (sh-h-h don't tell, but it wasn't as good as Jim's). Linda B. finished up her laundry and we all took off to a bluegrass festival but once there we decided instead of paying the entrance fee we'd go home and have lunch on the "patio". The Lindas are vegetarians and had made tomato sandwiches, cut up fresh fruit, salsa and chips. So I made a bunch of egg salad sandwiches and we sat under the awning, ate and played with the dogs. The weather has been very pleasant the last couple of days, so it was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the warmth.

After a while Jim mentioned there was a Camping World close by and the Lindas said "let's go". So off we went checked out the store and then looked at a bunch of motorhomes. Then we dropped off the Lindas at their rig and bid them goodnight.

OK, now what do we do for dinner? Jim says hamburgers or rotisserie chicken? I tell him to go check what looks good. So we ended up with pizza from The Mellow Mushroom. Oh, was that go-o-o-d. We figured we had had only had two pizzas since we left Coffeyville, Kansas, it was about time. We've been so busy eating gumbo, barbeque, shrimp items it was nice to eat something different.

So that was our day. We spent some time with Lesle and Bill's cats, watched Forest Gump again, a little of the Harry Potter marathon and are now watching Pearl Harbor.

Hope you had a good Saturday. Remember - you are loved.
