Boerne, Texas

We took off from Livingston on a cold, overcast morning. We did have a caravan going on with Jim and I, then Bill and Lesle and then Trish. That's Lesle waving in front of the motorized trolley that gives tours of the park.

We took I-10 towards Boerne. We encountered a massive rainstorm going west of Houston - hardly could see the road. We stopped by the roadside and made sandwiches for lunch. We drove directly into Boerne as the drivers were tired from battling the roads, getting there about 3:30.

When we were at the Tabasco plant Thursday we bought the boys new collars. They wouldn't stand still enough for me to take a photo, so I got one while they were sleeping during the drive. Pretty cute, huh?

There were already eight rigs here so we put together an impromptu barbecue and before you knew it steaks and chicken breasts were ready along with beans, salads and desserts.

We retired about 8pm as it had been a long day and we were bone tired. Tomorrow seven more rigs arrive, so we need to rest up for a full court press time of p-a-r-t-y-i-n-g!!!!!!!!

Remember, you are loved!
