Still Cold–Kinder, Louisiana

Sunday when we arrived to 75* we thought it was the beginning of warmer weather.  NOT.  Yesterday was cold and windy and we stayed inside.

Red Shoes RV Park here at Coushatta Casino is a very pretty park. (I swiped these photos from their website)

First you see a lot of “chalets” (think park models)

then you drive around a lake to get to the RV park.  In the foreground you see the admissions office with pool (closed), nice laundry and large and attractive lounge with a big TV.  In the background you can see the RV park laid out in large lots with grass between each site.

We went next door to the Mossmans for “happy hour” (think green tea for me) and chatted a couple of hours….bemoaning the defeat of the Broncos at the Super Bowl.

Hopefully, today will allow us to spend some time outside…I’m getting really tired of hearing our electric heater running all the time.

Remember, you are loved.

  1. Hi Bobbi, So sorry about the Bronco's, that was a sad experience to watch! I have been following your blog for awhile, which led us to stay at Betty's in Abbeville. Our plans changed and we headed to Atlanta GA, Brrrrr! I guess even the 'warm' states aren't too warm either! Take care
