Good Book-The Sixth Rider

Many of our blog readers we met while working for amazon.com’s fulfillment center in Coffeyville, Kansas.  That city is known for being the place The Dalton Gang were killed trying to rob two banks at the same time. 

You can read a short description on the city’s webpage The Dalton Gang Raid.  We’ve gone to the city’s annual reenactment as the original buildings are still standing.  So I was interested when I saw a blurp for the book, The Sixth Rider – 20th Anniversary and at $2.99 it was inexpensive.

Max McCoy is the author of the Indiana Jones series of books from which the movies were made.  The Sixth Rider is written very well, with almost poetic verse.  The story itself is very interesting and I highly recommend it to any one who like western books or who have worked at Coffeyville as much of the area is described in the book.
