Lute’s Casino – Yuma, Arizona

The other day five of us ventured into Yuma to look at more fifth-wheels, since Jim and I are looking to get a longer rig with a third slide.  No luck this time either, so we decided to go to lunch.

We remembered Nick Russell mentioning Lute’s Casino in his blog, so off we went to old downtown Yuma. After parking we walked across a stretch of green grass and Linda and Marty couldn’t resist – took off their shoes and wiggled their toes in the splendor of real grass.

Lute’s Casino use to have some gambling there back in the old days, but not now.  It’s a restaurant and if the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” tv show ever came here, it would easily qualify as a DIVE.

Ate the “Especial” a hamburger and hot dog combo-all on the same bun. See the hot dog on the bottom and the hamburger on top?CIMG3963 Leaving the back door.  Why isn’t anyone smiling????CIMG3964
