New Year’s Day 2014

It continues to be cold (highs of 50) and raining, but we celebrated the new year with a pot luck dinner.  Jim and I brought a Smithfield ham that was delicious and by popular demand, Jay made another crawfish pie….yummy!  To round the meal we had a pot roast, cooked cabbage (didn’t know that was a tradition for new year’s), salads, veggies and desserts.  All were tasty.

Found out most people left the party before midnight the night before and today many didn’t stay late as they were still recovering….takes you longer when you’re older.

Remember, you are loved.

  1. Yum! What is that in the second picture? Almost looks like grits. My favorite!
