Cough Mystery Solved

As many of you know I acquired a persistent cough last October while working at amazon.com in Coffeyville, Kansas. At first I though it was a cold, then I thought it was breathing in the dust there. Well, today I had my annual physical and when my doctor if I had any concerns I mentioned the hacking cough. Doctor said “when I put you on Lisinopril I told you to tell me if you starting coughing. It’s a side effect of taking that blood pressure medicine.”

So mystery of why I’ve been coughing has been solved. So I got a prescription for another blood pressure medicine and my cough will go away. Amazing!!!

We drove to The Great Sand Dunes National Park outside of Alamosa to visit our Escapees friends, Dave and Marie Dengate. They volunteer at the campground there for a couple of months each summer. We spent a delightful couple of hours with them and the scenery was amazing. I got these photos online as my photos aren’t as good.

These are the tallest dunes in the country at 750 feet. The Medano Creek appears and ebbs and flows with a pulsing motion actually creating waves called “surge flows”. The kids love to play in the “ocean” .

So tomorrow we move to South Fork for our summer camphosting job. It will be cold up there in the mornings put pretty nice during the day. It will be nice to be able to have a camp fire again.

Remember, you are loved.
