No, folks, Jim and I haven't fallen off the edge of the world. Since our prime rib dinner post we had all the hailstorm damage repairs done, new awning hung and our daughter, Beth, got married at our campground. All of those events will be posted here shortly, but currently we are in the process of buttoning up the campgrounds for the season.
Today is September 3rd and all the campers have to be out of our six campgrounds by 1:00 p.m. and then we slam the gate shut and lock it.....with us inside!!!
We'll be around here till the end of the week doing our final campground clean-up and shut-down. Then we will spend a couple of days with Rich and Terri at the commercial campground they manage, South Fork Campground. That's where we do a deep cleaning on the rig, good flush out of the holding tanks and just relax and visit with those dear folks for a while.
Next we will return to Alamosa and stay at Jim's brother's property out of town a ways till early October. Jim has his hernia surgery next week and we'll stick around for his recovery, his high school reunion and just plain relaxing for a change.
Well, those are our plans for the immediate future. I promise to get the photos of the wedding and new awning up soon.....Lory (computer guru) just got back our new HP laptop from yet another trip for repairs to HP....so we'll see if this fixed all the little problems.
Remember, you are loved.
