Mill Creek Campground, Jasper, Texas

We’ve been staying at Mill Creek Campground, Corp of Engineer Park-Sam Rayburn Lake.  It’s 18 miles north of Jasper in southeast Texas.  It’s a very nice and pretty campground that we are enjoying a lot.

Lake is right there

One morning there was mist on the lake and it was lovely.

CIMG7038We’ve been having our happy hours outside as the weather has been absolutely gorgeous the last few weeks.  We’ve had a couple of camp fires and even cooked over the fire.

Then one night the sunset was amazing.

We’re staying here for another week and looking forward to it.  Remember, you are loved.

  1. I understand from reading Susies blog that you are going to camp host at a park south of South Fork Colorado this summer. We will be in the area most of the summer too. We might just see each other. It really is a small world!

  2. Thanks for sharing pictures of the Mill Creek Park. We were looking for last minute Easter reservations and were a little nervous making blind reservations. Sounds like you guys enjoyed your stay there hopefully we will, too!

I'd like to also suggest Twin Dikes Campground, also a COE, but on another part of the lake. Our friends just spent a week there and said it was nicer than Mill Creek CG. The campsites on right on the water and campground is smaller. Check out this website for more information:
