Friday we got the official word that we are being released from work at amazon.com next Friday, December 17th. They will pay for one extra day of camping fees so we will pull out of here on Sunday, December 19th. Oh, happy day!!!
We will be traveling with The Mossman’s to Tunica, Mississippi, for a couple of days of rest and relaxation at the Hollywood Casino RV Park. Then we’ll all drive southeast to Escapees RV Club’s Rainbow Plantation RV Park in Summerdale, Alabama, which is about 25 miles from Mobile and Gulf Shores. It is one of our favorite campgrounds and it will be a nice place to spend Christmas with other RVers. We love the area and enjoy being so close to the Gulf. We like nearby Fairhope with their quaint shops and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives recommended restaurants.
Rich and Terri Deacon have to work one more evening then us and then they will stop in Nashville to attend a concert with another workamper couple. Afterwards they will meet us in Summerdale to spend Christmas with us and continue to travel with us for the winter. The Doyle’s are camphosting in Georgia for a month and then will join us in Abbeville, Louisiana, for a month at Betty’s RV Park for Mardi Gras. It sure will be fun traveling with our good friends.
