Last Monday Rich, Terri, Jim and I went to Fairhope to stroll around and have lunch at Panini Pete’s, a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives pick.
We have been to Panini Pete’s before, back in 2009, with Bill and Lesle. At that time Pete was there and we got a photo.
This visit we got to sit outside by the fountain part of the French Quarter area of shops and stores. It is very pretty and soothing.

My beef sandwich on ciabatta. | Turkey sandwich |
This turkey is cooked differently. On Triple D Pete showed how he wraps a seasoned turkey breast in three layers of heavy duty foil and he puts it in the basket and deep fries it! It’s not greasy or anything but tender and succulent.
After a delightful lunch we walked around the charming town of Fairhope and then drove down to the municipal pier on Mobile Bay.
This is the old pier on the right that the seagulls have taken over. Way in the distance you can see the skylight of the city of Mobile.
It was a very nice day spent with friends….life is good!
Remember, you are loved.
