Meeting Ends

We’ve had a great meeting with two full days of information.  Now to fly back to Albuquerque tonight, get to Alamosa and begin the process of moving stuff from South Fork.

We’ll have about two weeks to enjoy Alamosa seeing our friends and family there. Then driving back to Orem, Utah with things.

It was a real pleasure to meet the other three regional manager couples that cover the other parts of the country.  We’ve dined together, solved problems together and tried to forecast our future.  It’s going to be an interesting summer that’s for sure.

I’m definitely going to have to reduce my food intake starting today.  The Comfort Inn here offers a complete breakfast with eggs, sausage (for Jim) waffles, fruit, every kind of bread and even yogurt.  Then we all walked to a nearby restaurant for lunch and we went out with other regional managers for dinner.  That’s a lot of calorie intake with sitting around all day in meetings.  I think I’ll be walking around Cole Park in Alamosa a lot to work off some of this extra poundage before my annual checkup and weigh-in.

OK, that’s it for today.  Need to pack, have a last visit at our headquarters, then be driven to Salt Lake City airport and a long wait till 10 p.m. to catch our flight back to Albuquerque.

Hay Jim – where are we sleeping tonight when we get in after midnight????  Oh, no reservations? Oh, this going to be fun.

Remember, you are loved.

    1. We flew back to Albuquerque from Salt Lake City and needed somewhere to stay at midnight before we drove back to Espanola to pick up the rig and Poncho. We did make reservations while in Orem, UT so all is good.
