Hello? Is there anybody out there?

No one has left a comment on this blog in so long I’m wondering if anyone is even reading it.

As we visit with friends in Alamosa almost everyone say “I read your blog all the time”. Huh???  Sure enough they tell me about something they read or somewhere we went and wrote about….so I know they are reading our blog….but how do I know they do when they never leave a comment or let me know?

I phone RV friends on the road and they make comment about our blog posts, but again they never leave comments.

So, come on folks, how about letting me know you are reading this blog and leave a comment.   (If you don’t have a Google Account you can leave it anonymously but please type your name at the end of the comment so I’ll know who left the comment.)

I’ll wait………….

Remember, you are loved.

  1. Well, shoot! I read your blog every time you post.... and I enjoy it. Frankly, I think the both of you look a heck of a lot better without those safety vests on from that gate guarding job, but then that's just me ;-)..... I might have mentioned before that we took the G-guard test while we were in Ft Worth, but don't plan on working at that until this fall. Are you going back to that work later? Don't quit blogging.... lots of us out here enjoy reading about your experiences!!!!

  2. On my computer, with the red background color and blue text, it's hard to see the "Comment" link. My real comment is about the bark beetle infestation. I've seen the destruction of mountain pine near Ruidi Reservior, Colorado. Like you, I call it a sad sight to see.

  3. Yep, read it faithfully... but I read it in gReader which does not have a link to easily comment. If I do comment I click on the web-based version as I have done here.

  4. Yes I do read it and I enjoy it. The pictures of the campgrounds along the South Fork were good pictures but I am wondering about the loss of the trees.

Looking forward to meeting up with you folks. I will not miss it this year.

  5. Hey Bobbie. I feel your pain, girlfriend! I always feel the same with my blog too. People tell me they read it all the time, but don't leave comments. I always wonder too. I'm reading yours though. Do you read mine???? LOL

  6. I'm here!

Sometimes I am guilty because I read blogs on my Galaxy tablet and it's harder to leave comments. But I am with you in spirit?

I know my readership on my blog is sometimes 175-200 readers a day! But I only get 5-10 comments. go figgeR?

  8. Yup, still reading but not doing much commenting. Between Stu's surgery/rehab and doing a daily writing challenge, there hasn't been much spare time. I am paring down my blog list but I guarantee you that you guys are staying ON the list!

  12. I do read your blog, every post, but because I am usually reading on Google Reader on my Ipad it's a royal pain to post a reply. With so many blogs with that captiva mess I usually do not post a comment anymore.

My wife Laurie and I have been reading your blog for over a year and we love it. You guys have such a great positive attitude and we hope to have as much fun as you are having. June 1st I'm retiring from the Police Dept. after 25 years and we're begining our fulltime adventure.
We plan to be at the CORA campground near Buena Vista for a few months starting in July. We would love to stop by and say hi.

But I continue to write as it leaves a record of my thoughts and that I do exhist. My own kids won't read my blog. Maybe one day my Grandkids will.

  29. I read your blog all the time! I really enjoy it! Please keep them coming! I know you don't know me, but we RV just not full time yet. Weare planning a 3-4 month trip this summer to NM, AZ, CA, OR, WA, ID, MT and then home to OK. We are leaving the day after Mothers Day. We love Colorado too and have been there many times. Love the mountains, trees, and clear water!

  30. You are right it can be very frustrating when nobody leaves any comments. Sometimes the problem is that we are so busy helping our children out with projects that it cuts into our time. Our time would be spent visiting, improvements on our rigs, out traveling, or keeping up with the all the blogs on our sidebar. At last count we had 164 so when your time has ben comprimised you read through the blogs that post daily first, then return afterwards to read the others. Like your friends are telling you we do read your blog post but many times don't have the time to make a comment.

So hopefully once all those projects that I'm involved in are completed and life slows to less than a blurr, then I'll be able to leave more comments.

    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  35. I understand completely....no one comments anything about anybody anymore.....

It is the reason I lost interest in blogging.

Maybe Facebook has replaced the comments section

  39. Been reading your blog. We also gg'd for GGS out of Whitsett in Nov & Dec. We had to leave when hubby hurt his knee. Are now in FL waiting for knee replacement. Looks like a great place in CO to spend the summer. We will probably be in HOT FL doing rehab! Maybe we'll meet in TX this fall or winter. We never worked for Amazon. Most posts sounds like hard & hustle, hustle jobs! Will you do that again & then gg too in Jan? Remember you are read & loved, just some of us are sitting reading with not much to write about! Could be worse, just 5 miles from the beach at Daytona, I'm just wishing we could travel & I know my hubby is tired of all this! Tom & Lynn
