Picnic by the Gulf

Saturday we decided to have a picnic so we loaded up a cooler with pop and water, stopped by Subway for sandwiches and all headed down to the Gulf. 

We decided on the newly reconstructed facilities at historic Fort Maurepas Park. It was destroyed by Katrina, but was reopened October, 2009.  It is right across the street from the white beaches of the Gulf, Ocean Springs, MS
