One of the reasons people come to Betty’s RV Park is all the activities Betty schedules at the park. Friday during “happy hour” we enjoyed a concert by country singer, Judy Bailey, who was named one of the Top Five New Female Vocalists of 1981. She sang for three hours giving a wonderful concert just to the folks in the RV park.
Judy invited us to her house Saturday for an afternoon concert with a band she was putting together to play a few gigs coming up this month locally. She knew these musicians individually but she wanted to see how they would work together in front of a live audience. They worked out fine. Although Judy sings mainly country, with the band there was a variety of music played from “Margaritaville” to “Let It Be” to “The Twist”. Judy even supplied us with a grilled hamburgers for lunch.

We all enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather. Add food, libations, a great concert and friends…what could be any better? My heart was happy.
Remember, you are loved.
