The Doyle’s arrived at Cypress Bayou Casino yesterday from Georgia, so we all defrosted pork chops that Jim C. grilled for us all. I really love our new rig as we were able to sit all eight of us in our rig for dinner. We all talked about our excitement about going to Betty’s.
After making our reservations a year ago at Betty’s RV Park in Abbeville, Louisiana, today we finally will move in. We’ll be there a full month experiencing all the activities of Mardi Gras.
We’ve been biding our time since leaving amazon.com in Campbellsville, KY, December 17th. Our stays in Summerdale, AL, Gautier, MS, Ocean Springs, MS, Westwego, LA and now in Charenton, LA were all cold and lacked much to do. So we are really looking forward to being at Betty’s and enjoying all the places to go and food to eat. We all really like Cajon food, so our anticipation level is pretty high.
There are ten rigs arriving at Betty’ today, so she has asked that we stagger our arrival times. The Deacon’ and Mossman’s will go in first while the Doyle’s and us wait at the nearby Walmart to be called to come on in.
First thing we do after setting up is laundry….it’s been two weeks and we are all on our last pair of skivvies, so we all need to rush to clean our clothes.
Remember, you are loved.
Good group ! Ya'll may have to stagger the laundromat start too ! Enjoy the Big Easy ! Signed, snowed in, in Arkansas !
