Monday as we pulled into Park Creek we were hoping site #11 would be available as it is one of only two sites we fit in here. Ah, oh, someone is in there….wait….looks like they are actually pulling out. Better get out and see. Hay, who is that? He looks familiar! By golly it’s Jim and Rita, long time campers here that we’ve known for years of camphosting in this campground.
We had a short conversation as we were blocking traffic, but Jim said he had trained one of the chipmunks to eat peanuts out of his hand. He said the chipmunk’s name was Nemo because he comes on your knee and wants “mo” or more. Catchy name, no?
After eating all of Jim’s peanuts the other day that we left on the outside table, Jim figured he better see if Nemo would eat out of his hand. Took only about half an hour of bribing for Nemo to come closer and closer and soon he was eating out of Jim’s hand.
Nemo is a cute little thing. And he was busy chasing all the other chipmunks away from his meal ticket. They are so amusing to watch….better than TV for sure.

Jim then got busy grilling a four-pound prime rib to share with The Boys, Tim and Paulo. Boy did it come out delicious. Good job, Jim!!!
perfectly medium rare | Add a baked potato and broccoli in a cheese sauce and you have a great meal. |
The two pups stayed in the RV while we ate. Poncho was very happy to share his pillow with Chaps….glad to have a buddy around.
I’ll leave you with a photo I took of a fly fisherman casting in the waters in front of our site…..beautiful.
Remember, you are loved.
