9:30 a.m.? No, can’t be 9:30 a.m.!!! I never sleep till 9:30! But then again, we don’t often stay up till 11:30 p.m. two nights in a row, for sure.
Thursday night we stayed up late to watch that horrible Bronco defeat to the Chargers. Then last night we went to dinner and then to a play in Lafayette, so it was another 11:30 p.m. night for us….yes, I slept till 9:30 a.m. this morning.
Here’s the gang all assembled to divvy up into cars for our trip to Shucks for dinner.
We really like Shucks. The food is amazing, and as it says in their website “founded in 1995 SHUCKS! embodies the essence of authentic Cajun Cuisine.”
Here we all are, lined up pretty.
You guys know me….I like taking pictures of food….so here we go
After our delicious meals we piled back into five vehicles and headed for Lafayette to see “A Tuna Christmas” at the Cite des Arts Theatre.
Here we are getting ready to see the play
We laughed ourselves silly!!!! So enjoyable.
Afterwards we met with one of the two lead actors, Shane Guilbeau….Betty knows his sister who got us front row seats.
We got home around 11 p.m. well fed, spirits lifted and well satisfied. You can’t ask for more.
Remember, you are loved.
I just love your posts about all the fun and good food there! So excited that we have March reservation secured!
ReplyDeleteAh, Sharon, I hope we can stay a day or two more so we can get a chance to meet you, as we are scheduled to leave Betty's March 6th.
