We both slept in late and didn’t get out of the Gate Guard Services Whitsett yard till 10 a.m. We had an uneventful drive southeast to Mercedes.
We checked into Paradise South RV Park and relaxed a while before going to Golden Corral in Westlaco for dinner. Boy I ate a huge salad and then a plate of cooked veggies with a piece of baked fish. I was even good with my dessert choice….three strawberries….OK….yes, they were drenched in chocolate….you caught me.
Had to get home to watch NCIS and NCIS-Los Angeles. Jim is snoozing…..Poncho is snoring….life is good.

ReplyDeleteAwh, Golden Corral. Wish they had them in Oregon. There is one in Marysville, Washington about 5 1/2 hours from here..... One time we spent the weekend with my sister, then drove the two hours just to eat at Golden Corral. and yes, the Strawberrys were worth the drive cause,.........they were dipped in chocolate. Lots of chocolate.

Ah, I was wondering when you would be ending your gate guard duties this spring. I guess I got my question answered! :-) I do hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Texas. I also have not noticed whether you got the contract for the parks around South Fork again?

The M/W looks great; BE SURE TO READ the instructions... We've never had a NEW ONE so Joyce never had a book to learn by!! Why did you go all of the way to Weslaco to eat; that's the wrong direction to Loosianna!!!
