What do you write about when you aren’t doing much? The plague of a blogger.
I could write about adjusting to the high altitude. I lived 27 years at this 7,750 feet altitude. The first year we returned after going fulltime RVing I was fine; only took me a couple of weeks to return to prime breathing shape. The last 3 years I’ve been way out of shape and had a hard time breathing after any excursion. Today I sweep the floors and had to sit down to recover before washing the floors. It will take me over a month before I can do things easily. When we move up to South Fork we’ll be 1,000 feet higher! Can’t image how long it will take me to wash all the picnic tables in seven campgrounds!
I could write about having lunch with my dear friend, Salai, where I gave her the “goody” bag I have been accumulating on the road all year. She liked the sets of earrings and dragon fly. Salai is the Head Librarian at the public library where I use to work and they are building a new library along with a new city hall, renovate the fire department and police department. So it was interesting discussing the building progress.
I could write about losing 6 pounds just this last week!!! Is it because we are no longer having daily “happy hours”? Or could it be my not eating meat but a couple times a week? I haven’t increased my exercising…from nothing to still nothing. I’ll take it, though. Wonder what next week will bring weight-wise?
I could write about the knitting pattern I bought from knitpicks.com. It’s of a very attractive cowl that you can pull up over your head to make a hood. (Check it out Jean. It’s an easy pattern and you can use any bulky yarn.) I really hate having my ears cold! Those of you who have seen me in the winter know I always have my ears covered…ear muffs rule.
I could write about how hot the Colorado Rockies are!!! They are 4 and 1! Everyone is talking about them going all the way or at least to the play-offs. Now that we are in Colorado we changed our DISH local stations to Denver, so we can get Fox Rocky Mountain/Root station and see all the games. I’m in heaven. I never was much interested in baseball before Colorado got a baseball team in 1993. But since then we are both avid fans. We’ve been to a few games in Coors Field in Denver and that is a real treat. Coors Field is such a nice stadium. You can walk all around the park and never lose sight of the field, so you can keep watching the game as you walk.
I don’t know….what do you think….should I write about any of those things?
Have a good day and remember……you are loved!

That was taken a couple of years ago. Check my latest posting for a photo I DID take at the golf course the other night.
