Since we will be busy with activities the next couple of days, we decided to do laundry yesterday. So Terri, Linda and I got that done, checked out a shoe store and we each bought a new pair, lunched at Quizno’s, and then we saw Sally’s Beauty Supply…ah, oh…Linda eyed the crazy colored hair dye and choose the teal color. She has wanted to put in a colored streak in her hair since she had to cut off the hair braid she got at Disneyland.
After kind of overdoing it last Sunday we decided to “go without” for a couple of day, so we did the following completely sober.
First, we have been craving barbeque (not many BBQ places in the middle of Cajun country) so Jim C. grilled up three slabs of St. Louis cut pork ribs as we all brought sides. He cooked it low and slow for five hours and they were tender and juicy…fabulous job!

Then it was time for Linda to streak her hair….but it turned into all of us drying our hair….MEN INCLUDED!!!!!
Here’s the procedure…..
 Section the hair, apply dye, wrap in foil. |  Apply heat for 15 minutes to set in the color |
 Rinse out the dye |  Dry hair and style |
So then it was time for the rest of us….

So after the ladies were finished it was the men’s turn. We started working on the guys to streak their hair too. Jim M. said he’d do it if Rich would. Then Rich said he’d do it if Jim C. did. By then Tom had no choice, and he went along.

The TEAL TEAM EIGHT has been noted to frequent down home style eateries, tattoo parlors and happy hours.
They have also been known to frequently chant:
Oh, yeah ! WE BE A' HAVIN' FUN NOW !
Citizens are advised to be on the alert and be prepared to evacuate at a moment's notice should the TEAL TEAM EIGHT be sighted partying in their area.
